The game is a continuation of the Submachine series. According to the plot of Submachine 4: the Lab, we freed ourselves from the loop trap in the previous part of the game and now find ourselves on the roof of the laboratory where experiments with dimensions were conducted. We have to solve puzzles not only within the walls of the abandoned laboratory, but also far beyond its borders. A large number of worlds will be available to players, between which you can travel. Fans of the series will find in the new game references to both previous parts of the series (Submachine 2) and later parts (Submachine Zero, Submachine 32 Chambers).
The new game is a classic puzzle-quest with item collection and movement across an interactive map. The creator of the series, Mateusz Skutnik, made the fourth part truly beautiful and exciting. The surrounding world is presented more saturated and realistic, which not only pleases the user's eye, but also makes the search for necessary items much more interesting.
The game practically lacks simple algorithms like "found a key - opened a door". The dynamics of "Submachine 4" are built on logical thinking and the ability to correctly select the necessary materials to solve a particular problem. In the fourth series of Submachine, we observe such a principle of building the gameplay, where the fundamental factors of success are logic and attention, which is inherent in high-quality quests. It is noteworthy that the complexity of passing the game is achieved not by the presence of levels requiring high intellectual development, but precisely by increasing the number of items and puzzles involved in the gameplay. This makes the game interesting for both adults and younger fans of flash games.
The variety of locations, puzzles, and exciting gameplay rightly allow Submachine 4: the Lab to be considered one of the best games in the series.
Hints:
At the beginning of the game, carefully examine all walls and corners.
Do not forget that four teams of researchers "jumped" blindly and about their rule to always leave notes.
